Gordon Kirkham CONTRACT MANAGER

Contract Manager Gordon is responsible for researching and developing bids for corporate and government entities. He acts as the company's interface with some of the major corporate clients and provides quotes to them as part of the contracted work.

Because of Gordon’s extensive background in contracting and international business through his employment with the U.S. Postal Service, he brings to the company great skill in international and local negotiations as well as targeted research analysis.

Background & Education:
Gordon was born and raised in Utah. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Utah and later his Masters of Business Administration from Utah State University. Gordon has also taught several courses in the fields of logistics and transportation all over the United States. During this time, he was also deeply involved in database analysis.

Experience:
Gordon is retired from the U. S. Postal Service. His experience included managing Postal operations, serving as a transportation services contracting officer, and working as a logistics and networking specialist. Gordon was responsible for all U.S.P.S. transportation services within the States of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Eastern Nevada, and Western Wyoming. His responsibilities included management of over 580 transportation contracts involving approximately 450 contractors. To achieve his responsibilities he supervised a purchasing and logistics staff of 12 people.

Hobbies:
Riding bikes and golfing are Gordon’s past-time passions. He also enjoys spending time with his 6 adult children and playing with is 7 grandchildren. Gordon also loves to travel, having covered all but 5 states within the U.S. during his work with the postal service as well as pleasure travel. He has also traveled through much of Canada, Mexico and South America. He hopes to visit more countries and explore the world meeting new people and experiencing new adventures.
