Background & Education:
Vanae graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in English, and minor in editing. From a very young age, she has possessed a great love and a talent for writing. To supplement her skills and to further extend her understanding of writing she has studied editing for the last few years, gaining a deep appreciation of the Chicago Manual of Style in the process.
Experience:
She has had a great deal of experience with editing over the last couple of years, including: working for Stowaway Magazine as the main copy editor; completing an internship at Cedar Fort Inc.; and working as office manager of Smarty Streets where, among other things, she proofread and copy edited all content for the company's website, blog, customer emails, and newsletters.
Hobbies:
As an English major, she obviously loves to read, write, and do all things literature-related; however, she also loves singing, hiking, jogging, weight lifting (to make her muscles buff), eating chocolate, basking in the glorious sunlight, and spending time with her sweetie husband.
